DESCRIPTION:Portland Ducks Service ProjectMeet Ducks, network and help support Portland&rsquo;s Northwest Housing AlternativesSaturday, May 12th, 20128:00am &ndash; 11:00am or 10:30am &ndash; 1:30pmOn Saturday May 12th from 8:30am-3:30pm, Northwest Housing Alternatives will host the 20th Annual Annie Ross House Plant Sale in downtown Milwaukie. The Plant Sale is the shelter&rsquo;s signature event and raises over $30,000 to fight homelessness in our community.The plant sale will be held right across the street from Milwaukie&rsquo;s City Hall, located at 10722 SE Main St., Milwaukie.Northwest Housing Alternatives, in partnership with the University of Oregon Alumni Association, is requesting Duck volunteers to help make this event a success. We need volunteers to help set-up, cashier, stock plants, wave signs and assist customers at the event. Volunteers of all ages are needed for both the 8:00 -11:00 am and 10:30 am -1:30 pm shifts. Please Join the UO Alumni Association Portland Chapter by registering today- bring friends and family and wear your Duck Gear![[Registration Button]]Northwest Housing Alternatives operates the Annie Ross House, the only emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness in Clackamas County.
