The theme for TEDxUOregon is “Curiosity & Resistance: Diversity is Critical to Thinking.” Celebrating the diverse nature of our campus and capturing the innovative and curious nature of the Pacific Northwest, we are excited to present talks ranging from human biodiversity to pioneering the way for female fighter pilots and ensuring successful education of the youth in our community. 

We are pleased to welcome the following speakers:
    Brendan Bohanan, UO Associate Professor in Biology
    Tyree Harris, UO Journalism and Communications student
    Sara Hodges, Associate Professor of Psychology
    Major Caroline Jensen, United States Air Force Thunderbirds pilot
    Ian Haney Lopez, Professor of Law, UC Berkeley
    Andrew Nelson, UO Assistant Professor of Management
    Carmen Urbina, Parent, Family and Diversity Coordinator, Eugene 4J School District

Tickets are $30 and include lunch and a reception after the event.
