Johanna Ware ’02 Brings Eclectic Flair to her New Portland Restaurant

Even as she was cooking her way up the ranks at New York City's best restaurants, Johanna Ware always planned to return to Portland and open her own. Ware grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and always thought of the West Coast as the Promised Land. She actually made it to the University of Oregon, graduating with a degree in English in 2002.
