Architecture Students Designing Salem Police Station Project

Marshall Scholarship Granted to Honors College Senior Throughout the distinguished Marshall Scholarship's 57-year history, only three past University students have ever seized the prestigious award. University senior Josh Lupton is now number four. The scholarship allows Lupton, a biology and human physiology double-major, to attend the University of Cambridge for two years starting next fall, where he plans to focus his education on biology and public health.

Oregon Daily Emerald Football Book to Head Overseas Student journalists at the University of Oregon's campus paper, the Oregon Daily Emerald, are extending the ripple effect of the university football team's run to the national title game. With the book scheduled to appear just two weeks after the game in Glendale, Ariz., the Emerald is teaming with Operation Homefront, a support organization for soldiers and their families, to provide free copies to Oregon military personnel serving in the Middle East and elsewhere around the globe.

Ducks, Tigers Team up Against Hunger Prior to competing in the BCS Championship game, Auburn University and the University of Oregon teamed up for a food bank service project at St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance in Phoenix. Over 200 fans, family members, university officials, and school bands sorted donated food and packed emergency food boxes on an assembly line for those in need in the Arizona community.
