U.S. Senate Confirms Amanda Marshall ’92 as Next U.S. Attorney for Oregon
The U.S. Senate has unanimously confirmed Amanda Marshall as Oregon's newest U.S. attorney, a string dating back to 1848. But she doesn't expect her job as the state's top federal prosecutor to get her much notice at home in McMinnville. "When I go home at night, no one is going to look at me and say, 'There's the U.S. attorney,'" Marshall said with a laugh today. "They're just going to say, 'Oh, she's married to that prosecutor.' ... I'll never get as much press as my husband gets in our small-town newspaper."
