On Saturday, June 6th, The Portland Development Program, along with the School of Journalism & Communication, UO Athletics and the Warsaw Sports Marketing program, hosted the second annual Rose Festival Parade “Watch” Party for 150 of our closest friends and donors, including Portland Business Alliances’ Board Members. 

Brought back by popular demand for a second year, the place was packed to the brim with enthusiastic Ducks and spectators alike.  Situated in the Turnbull Center in the White Stag Block, we watched the parade as it traveled over the Burnside Bridge at eye level – definitely the best seats in the city!  Wendy Larson, Vice Provost of UO Portland Programs; Frances Dyke, Vice President of Finance & Administration and Jim Bean, Sr. Vice President & Provost were also there to watch the parade.  The Duck was on hand to provide a warm welcome to guests and entertain.  The event culminated with an exciting raffle featuring awesome Duck apparel and goodies from The Duck Store, located on the first floor of the White Stag Building.
