Assistant Dean of Advancement-College of Education Andrea Wiggins

Andrea Wiggins, Assistant Dean of Advancement for the College of Education, passed away at her home on March 5th. Andrea was a phenomenal fundraiser and advocate on behalf of the College of Education.

In her 15-years of service, Andrea was instrumental in promoting an esprit de corps with faculty, engaging volunteers, developing a vibrant alumni base, and fundraising on behalf of COE programs, faculty, and students. It was through her hard work that the College of Education Building complex was completed this past year. On a personal level, Andrea had the exceptional ability to be able to connect with people from all walks of life, from successful donors to an 18-year old international student she was hosting in her home. She was masterful at capturing the stories of the college’s students, faculty, and staff in a manner that Ducks everywhere appreciated. There was no finer ambassador for the college than Andrea.
