Clark Honors College Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Get ready for Homecoming 2010! Plan now to join us for two special 50th anniversary events on November 3rd at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. In concert with the exhibit “Giuseppe Vasi’s Rome: Lasting Impressions from the Age of the Grand Tour,” associate professor of Italian Nathalie Hester and CHC assistant professor of literature Mai-Lin Cheng will present a special lecture on the literary grand tour. Following the lecture, all CHC alumni are invited to a special tour of the exhibit led by exhibit co-curator associate professor of art history James Harper. On Saturday, November 6th, watch the UO Ducks take on the Washington Huskies!

Mark your calendars for A Night at the Nines, a grand gala on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Nines hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. Early registration opens in late September.

The UO Duckstore is featuring special merchandise in honor of the CHC’s 50th anniversary. You can pick up a travel mug, polo shirt, ball cap and other great items at the Duckstores on the Eugene campus and in Portland.
