Member of the Month-April 2011

Lizzy comes to us from San Diego, California and chose the University of Oregon because she absolutely loved the school spirit! She says, “When I walked into the Duck Store, I was blown away by all the green and yellow and I knew that I had to be a duck!” She also admits that the journalism school was great and she knew it was going to be the right fit for her. As a junior, Lizzy is a journalism major with a multimedia minor and is a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority on campus.

You can find Lizzy having coffee or lunch with friends in the Buzz or the EMU fishbowl and on the weekends she spends most of her time with friends in her sorority house, the mall, walking outside on a nice day, a movie now and then, and of course doing homework! Her favorite food is sushi and loves the variety that it offers. Lizzy loves being a part of the SAA because she explains, “it is a great way to meet people and especially being on the Spirit Committee because it gives you a chance to make some great friends!”
