Fall Term 2011 Recap

This term certainly has flown by and there have been many things to be excited for and reflect on over the past few months. There was the largest incoming freshmen class this year, which is also the brightest entering class, holding averages of over 3.6 GPA.  We helped "Unpack the Quack" with over 400 volunteers helping the news students move into the Residence Halls.  The UO won the Civil War Blood Drive, and helped save thousands of lives!  We have been charged with continuing President Lariviere’s bold and innovative ideas, after his untimely and seemingly unjustified firing. The SAA has increased its membership numbers to over 3,000, which officially (and by far) makes us the largest student group on campus. We had 5 successful BEAT T hand-outs and our Ducks are poised for the Rose Bowl.

We all go into this holiday season with new goals and aspirations for an even brighter 2012. We can’t wait to have you as part of it!
