« BackThe UO Annual Giving Program Call Center has moved to the EMU!
After many years located in Agate House, the Annual Giving Program
(AGP) now calls the newly built area next to The Break (in th EMU) home. The
students who work over there are ecstatic that they finally work in a
real work environment. Previously, the AGP’s call center was located on
19th and Agate street and even though the basement had character, the
student callers are adjusting to the change very quickly.
The new call center features many new amenities like proper lighting, spacious desk space and a closer connection with other student groups on campus. The program was also able to expand the work force by 5 additional computers - which doesn’t seem like much, but in reality it is more like 10 new student employees.
Plus, with the recent raising of funds for the UO’s Parent’s Fund ($160,000 pledged dollars!) - all of which goes to support programs like Safe Ride, The Teaching and Learning Services and the EMU as a whole - the students feel more connected to the programs they raise money for more than ever before.
COME VISIT!
The SAA is still offering student groups to visit the call center and see how students raise funds for the UO in order to support a variety of programs - and with the new location in the EMU, the call center is more accessible than ever! Email Evan today at ebosch@uoregon.edu to find out how your student group can earn and extra $50.
