Alberto Salazar joins our 10th Annual
Taste of Oregon to
share his experiences at the University of Oregon and how it has impacted his career and influenced his life. Alberto Salazar was the best American marathoner of the early- to mid-80s. Currently employed by Nike, Salazar has stayed connected with the sport as the coach of the Nike Oregon Project.

A silent auction will be held. A majority of proceeds from the event, raffle, and silent auction will benefit the San Diego Chapter Endowment, which funds one or more scholarships for local high school seniors each year. Our goal this year is to raise over $12K for our scholarship fund. You can help by attending the event, making a donation (tax deductible), or contributing to our silent auction.
