In May 2000, the UOAA established a Presidential Endowment fund. The scholarship is known as the UOAA Presidential Scholarship and is administered and awarded per the guidelines and policies established by the University of Oregon Foundation and the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Students are future alumni and one of the most exciting ways UO Alumni and the UO Alumni Association continue to give back to the university is through supporting students through scholarships.
In addition to the Presidential Scholarship, UOAA chapters award geographic specific scholarships to future alumni. Together, the UOAA and UOAA Chapters award more than $50,000 annually in scholarships through endowments and the scholarship program. These scholarships are administered through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. You may apply for these scholarships by filling out a General University Scholarship form. If you would like more information about how to apply for a UOAA Scholarship, visit the UO Financial Aid website.
