For more than forty years, the University of Oregon Alumni Association has honored outstanding alumni who have attained extraordinary distinction in their chosen professional fields or by personal endeavor.
UOAA Distinguished Alumni Award
This award, which began in 1967, is presented by the UO Alumni Association. It is bestowed on alumni of the university who have served the nation, state, or the university, or who have distinguished themselves by personal endeavor. Nominations for the award are solicited by the UOAA, and the annual recipient is selected by a committee of the UO Alumni Association. The award is generally presented in June.

UOAA Outstanding Young Alumni Award
The Outstanding Young Alumni Award was created in 1984 to recognize the achievement of a young alumnus/alumnae who has achieved significant accomplishments within fifteen years of graduation. The eligible candidates cannot be older than forty-one. Nominations are solicited by the UOAA, and the annual recipient is selected by a committee of the UO Alumni Association. The award is generally presented in June.

Portland Alumni Spotlight Award
Presented by the Portland Chapter of the UO Alumni Association, the Spotlight Award recognizes outstanding alums living in the Portland, Oregon area. The award was presented each fall from 1990 - 2009.

Jeanne Johnson Alumni Service Award
This award is presented by the UO Alumni Association to an individual for dedicated service to the Association. It recognizes the recipient's efforts to bring alumni closer together and strengthen the Association as an organization. The award is presented annually, generally in June.
