Fostering relationships with 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni
UO Pride is a UO alumni group that serves to connect 2SLGBTQIA3+ (2 spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, +) alumni and foster a lifelong connection to the University of Oregon. All 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni of the UO are encouraged to join, and alumni do not need to currently live in Oregon.
UO Pride serves to:
- Foster relationships among 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni
- Promote and support the educational, professional, and social interests of 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni
- Ensure that 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni feel connected to the UO by collaborating with the UOAA to create a welcoming environment for all alumni
- Recognize the accomplishments and achievements of 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni
- Communicate with our 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni and connect them to each other through social media, the UOAA website, and events
- Engage 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni on campus in programs to support students
- Connect 2SLGBTQIA3+ alumni and students for career networking and mentoring opportunities
